Global Access Diagnostics (GADx) is a leading developer of lateral flow and rapid diagnostic technologies, products and services, offering a full suite of services from concept to validation to manufacturing at flexible volumes.
GADx works with companies, researchers and clinicians to help them deliver fast, reliable and accurate diagnosis at the point-of-care.
GADx has labs and a high volume manufacturing facility in Bedfordshire, UK, as well as labs in Maine, USA.
GADx was formed when Global Access Health acquired two companies, Mologic Ltd. and Global Access Diagnostics Ltd. As part of this transition, GADx became a social enterprise, dedicating its profits and mission to improving the health and wellbeing of underserved populations around the world.
Lateral flow technology offers people an opportunity to take care of themselves with a simple and affordable way to understand their health at point-of-need. Unfortunately, many diseases can only be tested with expensive equipment in a laboratory, operated by people with technical knowledge and experience and on samples that require transport to the facility. This shuts out many people from being diagnosed and then treated for their illness, either because costs are too high, or the infrastructure simply doesn't exist.
GADx believes that everyone should have access to fast, reliable and low-cost diagnostic tests to improve the global health whether that be people, animals or crops. Driven by need and not profit, our mission is to get the best testing, to the most people, for the lowest cost - and to do so sustainably.
